Project Brief

Jacobs Steel, a multi-million pound estate agency chain has a fantastic reputation stretching back to 1984 and needed to update their online presence without losing their much loved character and style.

At the same time, they wanted to integrate brand new property software, extensive staff training and a real USP – we gave them two! Customer Logins and Live Video Walkthroughs.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Skills Needed

We started with a redesign of their website. We then needed to oversee the data transfer to the new online systems at the same time phasing out their old website and the introduction of the new. We also took care of their social media, Google Locations and SEO. Staff training with the new systems and Video Walkthroughs was essential so we visited each office in turn.

Initial Concept Planning

Jacobs Steel needed a full update including new computer software in the offices, a new website and staff training to match. At the same time they were looking for a USP to set them above the competition – we gave them two!

Drafts & Revisions

We went through several draft phases, making sure that Jacobs Steel kept their well known identity whilst updating it with a modern feel and integrating their social media. Before we published the site we went through several revisions to make sure that the text & imagery were correct and gave the SEO a good polish!

Final Delivery

On the launch day for the new website we went Old School and arranged for an area wide leaflet campaign, an email campaign, a launch on the Jacobs Steel Social Media channels together with some good old fashioned newspaper articles!

Jacobs Steel is a well established estate agent on the South Coast of England with a recognised brand that needed taking to the next level. Estate Agency is a hard fought industry – with a definitive style guide and colour scheme as well as a clever approach to property marketing and two new USPs, they are reinforcing their position as market leader.

Excellent Results

We have made sure that their SEO is really up to the task – organic search results are excellent and their social media channels are closely linked to make sure that everything that appears on their website also goes through to Facebook, Twitter and Google+. We also made sure that their details were correct on Google Maps to make sure potential clients could find them.
